Light It Up Blue

Forgot to tell you something!

April is Autism Awareness Month.  The goal is simply to bring attention to the fact that 1 in every 110 children is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.

Saturday, April 2 is World Autism Day and places all around the world will "Light It Up Blue" to raise awareness of autism.

What can you do to show your support for the autism community?

You can do like the Rush Family and change your outdoor porch lights to blue bulbs.

It's fun, it's simple, and when your neighbors ask why you have blue lights, you can tell them you're Lighting It Up Blue for Lily!  Or for anyone else you know who has been touched by autism.

Let your blue lights shine the entire month of April.  You never know who might drive by your house, see your blue lights, and take comfort in your small show of support.

  1. I like that. Just a little blue light can be a comfort.
