A Feathered Frenzy

Quick post before I head outside to exchange all our light bulbs for blue ones.....

I'm sure lots of you have seen those really cute, really skinny colored feather extensions that you can clip into your hair.

In honor of Light It Up Blue and Autism Awareness Month, I asked the big girls if they wanted to do blue feather extensions in their hair.

They thought it was a fun idea but their dad wasn't so sure.

I think he was picturing something like this:

I believe he was pleasantly surprised (and secretly relieved) to see this when he came home from work:

It was a fun afternoon - listening to giggly girls, hearing school stories, and playing with hair.  

And it's all for a good cause.
