In the midst of all the excitement, presents, catching up with friends and family, and eating way too much good food, I pray that you catch a glimpse of Christ and remember that He is the reason for the season.
Merry Christmas to each and every one of you!
Merry Christmas to you too!
ReplyDeleteIt's so good to hear a reminder about the real reason for this season- just having JESUS is all we need, so no matter how stressful or how chaotic this Christmas has been for me even without doing much at all- and no matter how much I really could go for running away and hiding until it's all over, I can rejoice because I have all I need in the relationship I have with Him.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and your whole family! God bless you!
Thanks for the reminder Lana. I was wondering if you know of any good books for kids Lily and T's age that would explain Christmas. I would love to be able to read a story to him on Christmas Eve under the tree - of course I could read the Bible quote that Linus does in A Charlie Brown Christmas and I have but I don't think he listens much. Any suggestion would be appreciated!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas my friend, and yes, I was smiling and laughing through the frustration yesterday - is there any other way?! ;)
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Lana! I hope you had a blessed day and some really good fun!
