And On A Lighter Note...

Well.

Yesterday's post was quite long, to say the least.

Today's won't be.

Because I have very important things to do this afternoon.  Things that really matter in life.  That really make a difference in the life of a child.

I'm going... kiddie pool shopping.

But I'm not just looking for any old pool, no sir.

I'm looking for one with all the bells and whistles.

Lily likes running water.  She likes the bathtub but only if I leave the water running while she's in it.  Or if I turn on the jacuzzi jets.

Thinking along those lines, I think Lily would like a pool that sprays water in some way, shape, or form.  That way, she can splash around in the pool water while being lightly sprayed with more water at the same time.

That right there is Lily's idea of a pleasurable way to spend a hot afternoon.

So I'm off to see what I can find.

Or rather, what I can afford.

Because while building a water park, complete with fountains, wave pools, and slides would make us the coolest family on the block, I don't see that happening.

Darn it.

  2. An idea...you could get a kiddie pool big enough to put in one of those gadgets that connect to the hose and sprays water out and up in the air..if not...maybe it will trigger your creative mind. I know our grandson likes the water a lot too but he likes the lights reflecting from the suns rays on it and splashes repeatedly with his hand on top of the water. Hope you find the perfect solution for Lily.
