A Plea for Prayer

I'm going to bet quite a few of you have already seen this.

But for those of you faithful readers who are not Facebook friends, here's what I posted yesterday:

There is a neurologist in New York City that other doctors call when they have exhausted all their own ideas and need fresh eyes. A neurologist with the gift of diagnosing and treating "medical mysteries". Today, that same neurologist in New York City will receive an envelope from UPS, containing Lily's medical record from this past year. The record of our own little "medical mystery". We are right on the cusp of yet another road in our journey with Bird. Please be in prayer for us and Dr. Souhel Najjar. It is appreciated more than words can say.

If you're the praying kind, we'd be ever so grateful if you would join us in our latest "bend in the road".

You are a blessing to us, sweet friends.

  1. Will definitely be praying for Dr. Najjar and all the records you have sent to him as well. I know God is doing something with Lily in all of this and we need to continue to expect that miracle! I will say a special prayer for you, Lana, because I know you need lifting up with all that is on your plate! Appreciate all you do and are doing in the Ladies Bible Study too!

  10. Lana, you know I have prayed for Lily from day 1. For a while, as she grew, it was that she would be able to go potty and not need to wear pull-ups for ever. God answered that prayer. As I was praying for her this morning the prayer came out "Lord, let this be the perfect timimg you have been waiting for - that Lana should hear about this dr. was your doing. This will finally be THE one you have sent to solve the virus other drs have said was in her brain." I am believing this is true.
You are doing a great "job" on Tues. I am enjoying finding out the very small things I thank God for are "gifts".
Love you all - Barbara W.
